She was mostly confused at first. She really just wanted to chew on the spoon.
We tried again later Monday night and she did better. She also got frustrated because spoon feeding her is apparently not fast enough for her.
She also likes to be in control and constantly tries to take the spoon and feed herself. I have a feeling this self-sufficient attitude will only make things more complicated throughout the years :)
She's doing better and better every day and this morning I think she finally got the hang of it.
In other news, I broke the dishwasher.
In other news, I broke the dishwasher.
Yes, the glorious new dishwasher I waited weeks for and ashamedly took a picture of when it arrived. How did I brake it, you ask?
Well when I attempted to open it on Wednesday I discovered that the door would not open all the way and I couldn't figure out why. I was very gentle with it and tried to find what might be restricting its movement. Then I pushed a little harder and there was a spark and popping sound and now it doesn't work. . . : /
Nathan looked at it when he got home and said the power cord got caught up and kept the door from opening and when I pushed the door open, it severed the cord.
Lovely.
Perfect timing too, now that we have three people making dirty dishes. Maybe when they deliver this next dishwasher I won't obsess over what I should wear . . .
