Call me Lieutenant Clardy . . .

I just wanted to take a minute and share a praise with everyone. On friday, Nathan found out he has been accepted into the Navy Chaplain Candidate Program. Nathan will be commissioned as a Lieutenant and so he says we will all have to call him "Lieutenant Clardy" ;)

We are so excited and thankful because from the beginning of this process we have asked God to show us if this is what he wants for us. We asked him to close the doors if this is not what he wanted for us and there were so many hoops to jump through and steps to go through that we just know it was only God that brought us this far. He could've closed the door at any point in this process, and we are just thankful he hasn't. It's just cool to see that he has a plan for our future together and to think about the possibilities of ministry.

Thank you to all of you who prayed for us during this time. If all goes as planned, Nathan will leave on May 19th to train in Rhode Island for 8 weeks. Please continue to pray for us during this time. Although we are excited about this new journey, we are unsure about what lies ahead.

Oh Morgan and Nathan I'm so excited for you guys! I know its going to be tough with Nathan away and with the uncertainty of following God's will, but know that we are praying for you guys and that as always God's light is there leading the way. We are having to deal with a similar situation (not the Navy obviously, but the separation part again) so please let me know if you need anything! Love you both!
